OneTouch Direct Celebrates 10 Years of Growth

Tampa, FL (Nov. 18, 2008) OneTouch Direct, a marketing and call center partner to Fortune 500 companies across North America, is a local company thriving despite tough economic times. This week, on Thursday, November 20th, OneTouch Direct and its team of more than 600 local Tampa employees will celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary.

Long-time Tampa resident, Ron Benson, founded OneTouch in 1998 after 12 years of working in executive posts in the call center industry. The company opened its doors with one client, five employees and a Tampa-based call center with 20 agents. Ten years later, OneTouch Direct’s more than 1,250 employees now provide support in English, French and Spanish to wireless, telecommunications, cable, Internet, entertainment and financial services industry leaders from its three locations (two in Tampa). “I don’t know if I could have anticipated we’d grow to this level and be so fortunate to count the best-of-the-best in their respective industries as our clients. I just believe our approach of being big enough to handle the business well and small enough to make every client feel like they are the only one works for us and our customers,” says Benson.

Key to OneTouch Direct’s success is its ability to attract, retain and develop top talent. “I joined OneTouch 10 years ago and have had the opportunity to grow inside the company from an agent to the director of client services. I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else,” said Johanna DiPietro, Director of Client Services in the Tampa office.

With current openings for account and call center managers and agents, the company has an open hiring process, always looking for the best talent to work with their clients.
